Profilirana gimnazia “Hristo Botev” is the only non-vocational school in Popovo Municipality. The school is profiled in different profiles - "Software and Hardware Sciences" and "Natural Sciences". There are as 284 students at school, divided into 11 classes. The educational process is provided by 20 teachers.
The school provides training for the most motivated students of Popovo Municipality and Opaka Municipality. More than 95% of our students continue their education at various universities in Bulgaria and abroad. Our students participate in various student Olympiads and competitions.
The school has various extracurricular forms that are designed to meet the needs of students and make the school an attractive center for young people. We have clubs for informatics, mathematics, photography, entrepreneurship, dance, a club for preparing students for participation in various patriotic events and hiking trips, a club for experimental chemistry, a chess and volleyball section. We have a club founded on the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross.
At school we organize various competitions, holidays and charity initiatives.
